Job Title: Lead Developer
Location: 1250 Techny Road, Northbrook, IL 60062
Duties: Responsible for guiding a team of developers to understand product requirements and develop the architecture and specifications for systems to support them using both customized and packaged software. Primary duties include: Design and develop business functionality in multi-tier web solutions while improving code quality and infrastructure; Build scalable, unit testable solutions for our website applications and conduct code reviews; Create and manage all functional UI and API tests from a single solution using mabl Automation Tool; Work across all phases of the software development lifecycle (planning, design, implementation, deployment, operations, and support); Lead cross-disciplinary Agile team to understand requirements, and perform product backlog grooming, sprint planning, execution, and retrospective; Collaborate with internal customers to determine the most efficient, cost-effective approach to meet their business requirements; Optimize website speed and performance, design and implement web applications, prototypes, user interfaces, and websites in the retail field, including optimizing SEO using Screaming Frog; Design personalized, optimized, and real-time search, browser, and discovery interfaces for retail customers using Lucidworks Fusion; Follow and ensure team members also follow appropriate security and coding standards, architecture patterns, resiliency, and documentation practices; and Mentor and coach other developers and able collaborate with offshore teams. Ability to work remotely, position is based out of Northbrook, IL.
Education + Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or related and 5 years of experience in software development

Creating, running, analyzing, and managing all functional UI and API tests from a single solution using mabl Automation Tool. Ability to work remotely, position is based out of Northbrook, IL.
