Regional Asset Protection Manager -West

The Regional Asset Protection Manager (RAPM) coordinates shrink improvement and asset protection programs for a region of approximately 40 Crate & Barrel, CB2, and Hudson Grace stores. They are a key business partner and critical advisor fostering positive relationships with Regional, District, and local Store Managers. They are a seasoned investigator responsible for driving, managing, and closing multiple complex internal and external investigations within their markets and will also create and review regional reporting and analysis that drives positive business results and maximizes profit. The RAPM will also support Supply Chain AP partners as needed. The RAPM ensures that company standards are met and procedures are followed while upholding the highest level of integrity, ethics and moral standing.
A day in the life as a Regional Asset Protection Manager…
- Oversee the Asset Protection training, auditing, and investigatory needs of the company
- Proactively monitor controls to identify and address potential associate theft and foster cross functional relationships in order to ensure inventory shrink in the region is kept at acceptable levels
- Develop shortage action plans in high-risk stores and organize reports to identify potential loss issues and investigate any issues to assist the company in protecting assets
- Develop, maintain, and conduct internal investigations and interviews for inventory, cash loss, and breach of company policies and procedures coordinating with AP leadership
- Ensure execution and compliance of all Asset Protection initiatives, process improvements, and shortage reduction programs within stores
- Conduct shrinkage control audits within the region and participate in store inventories
- Respond to and lead Emergency Response Plans (ERP) as needed (nights and weekends included) and maintain an effective liaison with local authorities
- Assess store and market needs to ensure Asset Protection resources such as CCTV, Burglar Alarm, Access Control, Guard services, etc. are appropriately designed, deployed, and functioning
- Support Supply Chain AP partners as needed
- Ensure company standards are met and procedures are followed while upholding the highest level of integrity, ethics and moral standing
What you’ll bring to the table…
- Relevant experience working in retail Loss Prevention, ideally across multi-site stores
- Hold Wicklander and Zulawski certification and be able to demonstrate interviewing proficiency
- Outstanding relationship building, collaboration, and communication skills
- Must be able to work calmly and methodically at all times, especially in stressful situations, and able to influence colleagues at all levels
- Maintain an awareness of Asset Protection, security and safety following the guidelines provided by management, Human Resources, and/or as outlined in the CBH Associate Guide
- Experience with navigating/using company systems such as iSeries (AS400)
- This role can be remote from California
- Ability to travel up to 20%
We’d love to hear from you if you have…
- 10 years relevant experience executing company shrink programs in a retail environment
- CFI, CPP, LQ or LPC certification preferred
- Wicklander and Zulawski certification
- Extensive experience conducting complex internal and external investigations in a retail environment
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems such as CCTV, Access Control, and Burglar Alarms
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and Google Office suites
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills

Minimum Starting Rate: $83,000.00 AnnuallyUp to: $110,000.00 AnnuallyPay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law.
