Floor Manager

Location: Cranbury, New Jersey

As a Floor Manager, you're responsible for managing daily operations of a Distribution Center to maximize productivity and meet daily operational goals. 

This is an on-site position based out of our Cranbury, NJ Distribution Center.

A day in the life as a Floor Manager 

  • Manage effective labor plans to ensure proper staffing levels according to budgets for overtime, full-time and temporary labor
  • Ensure productivity measurement standards are met
  • Identify and resolves critical distribution issues for inbound and outbound processes
  • Participate in the interviewing and hiring process for distribution center associates
  • Perform safety observations in conjunction with job observations to coach and counsel associates on proper safety procedures
  • Lead investigations for safety incidents and injuries by performing root cause analysis to remove future potential safety hazards\
  • Oversee and implement company and OSHA guidelines and programs to contribute to a safe working environment for all associates
  • Serve a backup for other floor managers as necessary
  • Participate in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems applicable to the position

What you’ll bring to the table…

  • Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management System
  • Computer skills, proficiency with Google applications, MS Word & Excel
  • Strong time management, organizational, planning skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures


We’d love to hear from you if you have…

  • Minimum 5 years distribution experience, 2 years supervisory experience
  • Associate’s Degree in related field preferred
