Merchandise Handler II

As part of the team here, you'll ensure every product we sell online or in-stores is delivered on time and with quality, ensuring our customers are amazed and delighted with their selection. The Merchandise Handler Returns is responsible for controlling the activities related to tracking, shipping, receiving, distributing, and storing of returns.
What you'll do:
- Process returns orders for materials or merchandise from sales staff or direct customer contact
- Track and monitor orders for customers and sales personnel and maintains customer files with sales contracts and other information
- Review orders for completeness according to reporting procedures
- Perform clerical tasks such as assisting with physical inventory, processing of returned products in internal systems, and collecting data about source of returns
- Resolve any discrepancies between return documentation and physical product
- Communicate with internal and external groups including warehouse, clients, suppliers and vendors
- Inspect returns and identifies products that can be resold
- Work within Warehouse Management Software System for all inventory information
- Transfer returned materials, packs, and prepares returns for shipment while in storage
- Clean up and dispose of boxes, packing material, and pallets, as well as general housekeeping of facility and specific product line areas
- Rotate through different departments, as necessary, to meet the demands of the business
- Participate in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems applicable to the position
- Perform all job tasks assigned by the leadership staff to achieve and maintain daily productivity and quality goals
What you'll bring:
- 1+ years previous related work experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience and working knowledge of warehouse management systems
- Advanced English Language proficiency
- Computer literate including but not limited to Google OS
- Mechanical aptitude to assemble furniture pieces
- Possess a complete understanding of training and communication resources relevant to the position
- Maintains an awareness of loss prevention, security and safety following the guidelines as outlined in the Company Code of Conduct and Associate Policy manuals
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Attention to detail
