Associate Manager, Visual Merchandising

Primary Responsibilities:
Support the development of floorplans, fixture layouts, and product presentation strategies to support customer flow, product density, and visual impact.
Support coordination with Store Design, Operations, Merchandising, Allocation and Marketing teams to ensure a unified, on-brand launch execution.
Manage development and implementation of special localization visual layer ranging form found fixture procurement, finishes, wall treatments and inspirational visual layers that enhance the store experience and reinforce the brand.
Prepare detailed visual plans and tools (e.g., floor set guides, display maps, VM packs) to guide store setup teams.
Travel to store locations to support the physical installation of visual merchandising elements.
Translate key merchandising, product and business initiatives into compelling and aspirational presentations across all new stores ensuring consistency, synergy and alignment across the brand and fleet of stores.
Contribute to the development and refinement of visual merchandising guidelines and playbooks.
Support, monitor and execute post-opening adjustments based on performance feedback and visual audits.
Lead and improve the new store opening visual merchandising process with a focus on streamlining operations, optimizing execution with display quantities and working internal systems to manage assortment display and presentation in MMT and DM
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Deep expertise in visual merchandising and strong understanding of spatial planning.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex, fast-paced store launches.
Ability to successfully guide and move forward multiple projects at one time.
Demonstrated ability and desire to successfully lead and inspire a high performing team.
Proactive problem solving skills.
Ability to appropriately adjust communication (verbal and written) and presentation style and content to the audience.
Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree minimum
5+ years in retail visual merchandising
Deep understanding of relevant software including: CAD, Excel, In Design, Photoshop and Google Applications
Proven ability to manage projects and teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
Ability to travel as needed and work non-traditional hours during launch periods.
Physical and Visual Activities**
On a daily basis, must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods depending on the day and task at issue. Must be able to constantly communicate and have visual acuity near and far. Ability to frequently operate computers/POS/office equipment, remain stationary or move around for long periods, handle paperwork, and/or push/pull. May occasionally carry files, reach, kneel, bend crouch/squat, and/or twist.
Physical Demands**
Movement of product, supplies and/or boxes to and from all levels of the store and stockroom. Ability to move and/or lift up to 65lbs to a height of 3-4 feet; heavier product with team assist. Furniture: Ability to move up to 300 lbs with appropriate equipment.
Environmental/Atmospheric Conditions**
Hot/cold temperature changes, concrete floors, odors, dust and mechanical/electrical/chemical hazards possible.
Starting Rate: $58,900.00 - $78,050.00
Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
