Manager, Operations Change & Transition Management

Location: Northbrook, Illinois

The Manager, Operations Change & Transition Management plays a critical role in enabling enterprise transformation by driving change adoption, operational readiness, and business process enablement across large-scale initiatives. Partnering closely with the Sr. Director, this role supports strategic programs by preparing teams for new capabilities, standardizing end-to-end processes, and embedding sustainable ways of working within complex operational environments. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience leading change in warehousing, distribution, or supply chain transformations, with exposure to WMS/LMS implementations or warehouse redesign strongly preferred.

A day in the life of a Manager, Operations Change & Transition Management...

  • Lead enterprise change and transition strategies for large-scale operational and technology initiatives, ensuring effective adoption across people, process, and systems.

  • Partner with Technology, Warehouse Operations, Planning, Product, and other cross-functional teams to align change plans, readiness milestones, communications, and dependencies.

  • Drive leadership readiness, stakeholder engagement, and associate-facing transitions, with deep focus on warehouse environments undergoing modernization.

  • Track adoption, readiness, and risk indicators; proactively adjust strategies to support sustainable change and post-go-live stabilization.

  • Facilitate end-to-end process documentation, standardization, and continuous improvement across operational domains.

  • Lead current-state and future-state workflow design workshops to identify gaps and build scalable, future-ready processes.

  • Ensure new processes are fully integrated into strategic initiatives, including Warehouse and Transportation Modernization, Order Management enhancements, and enterprise Planning transformations.

  • Partner with Product, Technology, and Operations to ensure systems (e.g., WMS, LMS, OMS, TMS) are supported by clear SOPs, training pathways, and operational readiness routines.

  • Build and maintain process hierarchies, governance, and design frameworks that enable cross-functional clarity and consistent execution.

  • Serve as a strategic connector between business and project teams, aligning objectives, impacts, timelines, and operational realities while navigating competing priorities.

  • Develop and maintain operational plans, readiness trackers, metrics, and executive reporting to enable data-driven decisions and successful go-live and post-go-live execution.

What you'll bring to the table...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business operations, business consulting, change management, process design, or strategic project execution.

  • Proven success supporting or leading large-scale change initiatives, ideally including supply chain, operations, or warehouse modernization.

  • Experience in environments involving warehouse operations, distribution centers, fulfillment networks, or supply chain transformation is strongly preferred.

  • Strong analytical background, with demonstrated experience using operational performance metrics and process analytics.

Starting Rate: $83,000.00 - $110,000.00

Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
