Marketing Coordinator, Public Relations

Location: Northbrook, Illinois

This Marketing Coordinator, Public Relations will help build company awareness and maximize sales growth/profitability by supporting the public relations team in planning, scheduling and executing marketing strategies for seasonal plans, promotions, localized store marketing activations, and always-on digital and campaigns across multiple categories.

This is a 4 day/week position based out of our Headquarters in Northbrook, IL

A day in the life as a Marketing Coordinator, Public Relations...

  • Owns first draft of media materials with assistance from PR Manager
  • Owns daily media monitoring responsibilities and oversight of PR coverage tracker
  • Manages inbound product request process and tracking towards monthly budget
  • Supports seasonal and proactive media outreach campaignsWorks with influencer team to determine new partners and owns execution of influencer PR seeding projects
  • Develops regular PR coverage reports to support ongoing reporting process
  • Assists PR team with lookbook development and photo shoots
  • Assists PR team with event development and collaboration partner management
  • Assists with filtering and researching inbound media requests

What you’ll bring to the table…

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills with an understanding of time management
  • Working knowledge of general Public Relations or Marketing process
  • Ability and eagerness to work in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing work quality
  • Ability to build relationships with team members cross-functionally across a large organization

We’d love to hear from you if you have…

  • 2+ years of Consumer and/or Retail Marketing and/or Public Relations experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
  • Experience working on a Public Relations or Marketing project



Minimum Starting Rate: $21.00 Hourly

Up to: $30.00 Hourly

Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
