Senior CGI Artist

The Senior CGI Artist will lead the creation of CG models, textures, lighting and rendering for specific visualization projects. Lead and mentor a team of artists with technical skills in our suite of 3D software.
This position is open to remote and hybrid candidates
A day in the life as a Senior CGI Artist…
- Serve as principal 3D modeler, creating both high-poly and optimized low-poly assets
- Consistently produce high quality, photo-realistic 3D product and lifestyle imagery under tight production deadlines
- Create and gather necessary material specific to project requirements and scope.
- Lead and provide oversight to 3D Artists
- Work closely with the CGI Art Director to develop the look and feel for 3D renderings
- For 3D-related company initiatives and project teams, serve as a technical subject matter expert
- Work closely with the Creative organization and Photo Studio to refine processes within the production workflow
- Identify efficiencies and streamline processes when collaborating with photo studio teams who are producing traditional photographic images
- Work under the supervision of the Associate Director, Image Production to develop the processes and workflows for cataloging, archiving and distributing assets
- Help develop and ensure that asset naming conventions and workflows are strictly followed within the digital asset management software and server file structures
What you’ll bring to the table…
- Expert level at 3D and post-production software (Autodesk 3DsMax, V-Ray, Corona, Marvelous Designer, Substance Painter, Photoshop)
- High level knowledge of 3D scanning technologies and workflows
- High level knowledge of AR/VR technologies and workflows
- Self-motivated and proactive. Exceptional problem solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to work successfully within and across teams
- Track and report progress on a daily basis
We’d love to hear from you if you have…
- Must provide a link to Photorealistic 3D rendering portfolio (including password) on resume or provide PDF samples
- 10 years experience in 3D modeling and rendering
- Four year University Art degree with a background in 3D/CGI
- Photorealistic 3D rendering portfolio
- Architectural or product visualization is a plus
