Senior Manager, Digital Personalization & Product Discovery

Location: Northbrook, Illinois

This is a data-led role responsible for developing and executing strategies to tailor digital experiences and content based on user behavior and preferences. The primary goal is to leverage customer data to drive strategies for personalized content and product discovery to increase Revenue Per Visitor (RPV), and grow customer lifetime value.

This is an on-site position (Monday through Thursday) based out of our Northbrook, IL office with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.

A day in the life as a Senior Manager, Digital Personalization & Product Discovery...

  • Strategy & Growth: Accountable for defining, executing, and optimizing data-driven personalization strategies that deliver relevant products, content, and messages to targeted users throughout the journey across digital properties. Identify high-impact guest opportunities across the site and app and translate them into actionable personalization use cases. 
  • Product Discovery Optimization: Champion best practices and constant optimization of Product Discovery across digital properties. Evolve on site search, personalization and recommendations to best in class standards with prioritization.
  • Results-Oriented: Drive revenue growth through increased revenue per visit and conversion. Partner with Customer Marketing to define and align personalization roadmap, identify priority guest segments, journeys, and use cases. Outline and drive best practices on Product Discovery across brands, including on site search, filters and recommendations. Centrally own the Product Discovery testing roadmap and partner relationships. 
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Analytics, Product, UX, Creative, and Technology teams to deliver scalable, high-quality personalization. Serve as Subject Matter Expert to work closely with Site Merchandising team through any conflict resolutions, acting as a mentor and leader.
  • Thought Leadership: The Manager acts as the strategic lead for personalization within Digital Merchandising, translating insights into tailored digital experiences that drive engagement, conversion, and loyalty. This position partners closely with Customer Marketing, Analytics, Product, UX, and Technology teams to ensure personalization efforts are customer-first, scalable, and aligned to business objectives
  • Data Analysis & Measurement: Own measurement best practices, dashboards, and KPIs. Partner with data teams to analyze user behavior, campaign performance, and site analytics to inform strategic decision-making and continuous improvement. Support testing, measurement, and learning practices that drive continuous optimization and impact.
  • Best Practices: Monitor industry trends and emerging best practices in personalization and digital merchandising.
  • Project Management: Ability to drive complex, cross functional initiatives to unlock new capabilities and deliver long term value for the organization. 
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of two Senior Analysts.

What you'll bring to the table...

  • Deep understanding of Digital Personalization practices, technologies, and methodologies like A/B testing for omnichannel businesses.
  • Strong data-driven approach with a track record of analyzing complex data sets and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, develop scalable roadmaps, and partner with Product/Tech teams and vendors.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of CDPs, customer ID, and personalization is preferred.

We'd love to hear from you if you have…

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, analytics, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in digital merchandising, personalization, e-commerce, or related disciplines
  • 2+ years of experience in strategy, ownership, or people leadership role

Starting Rate: $102,000.00 - $135,000.00

Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
