Senior Talent & Organizational Development Manager

This is an on-site position (Monday through Thursday) based out of our Northbrook, IL offices with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.
This role is an Individual Contributor position
A day in the life as a Senior Talent & Organizational Development Manager...
Conduct competency validation, profiling, and other needs assessment methods to identify and prioritize organizational needs and gaps
Build a career mapping process based on departmental and organizational goals
Conduct talent assessments across the organization and use insights to build targeted development programs
Lead and project manage organizational change initiatives
Initiate and maintain the talent review and succession program to align with learning and development offerings that enable organizational performance
Evaluate and evolve our performance management processes with the goal of producing a process and system that increases performance and improves outcomes
Drive the engagement strategy for the organization by providing insights, analysis, and recommendations based on the results
Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Business Leaders to implement processes and to provide tools/resources that are readily adaptable to support talent and organizational development
Inspire and empower individual contributors across the team, fostering an engaging environment that encourages growth and high performance
Initiate development, coaching and mentoring programs across the organization
Identify opportunities for performance and process improvement through internal diagnosis and process/system reviews in order to understand barriers and possible solutions
Develop appropriate metrics and tracking mechanisms to build accountability, measure results, and optimize the impact of the talent management programs
Manage orientation and onboarding process to integrate new associates into the organization.
Research, identify, and provide best practices relevant to current talent and organizational development processes

Demonstrated strategic mindset, effective consulting and influencing skills
Service and results oriented, high attention to detail, critical thinking and with a sense of urgency
Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills to effectively influence peers and leaders of a specific audience
Proven ability to collaborate and build trust, within complex organizational relationships, within teams, and one-on-one
Flexibility, adaptability, agility; able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to partner with senior business leaders on business strategy, organizational design and talent optimization
We’d love to hear from you if you have...
7+ years of related experience, with a strong foundation of organizational development in a talent management or organizational development role with a proven track record of managing organizational development initiatives
3+ years project and process management experience
Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Human Resources Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Learning/Training & Development or similar related field, or related work experience
Starting Rate: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00
Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
