Operations Manager, Home Delivery

Location: Tracy, California

This role will be a key leader, overseeing all aspects of our Home Delivery performance, service levels, and associate development within the Distribution Center. You will analyze performance, manage inventory, and ensure excellent home delivery customer service by effectively leading a team and holding third-party logistics (3PL) partners accountable.

  • This is an on-site position based out of our Tracy, CA Distribution Center
  • This role is a People leader position 


A day in the life as an Operations Manager, Home Delivery 

  • Lead and develop Home Delivery associates to maximize performance and encourage professional growth
  • Manage all delivery activity, including communication between the distribution center, cross docks, and stores
  • Analyze and review performance with 3PLs, identifying opportunities and driving timely results
  • Interview and qualify new carriers based on skills, service expectations, and cost
  • Manage carrier and in-home damage claims, chargebacks, and returns in compliance with company standards
  • Develop, manage, and distribute monthly Home Delivery KPIs and reporting to leadership
  • Focus on providing excellent service to all business channels and continually improve service in a cost-effective manner

What you’ll bring to the table… 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach to resolving service issues
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google platform
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills


We’d love to hear from you if you have…  

  • Associate's degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in home delivery
  • 3+ years of management experience in a distribution center or home delivery
  • Experienced in mulit-site management and P&L ownership
  • Experience with warehousing software (e.g., AS400, Red Prairie/JDA) is a plus


Minimum Starting Rate: $101,900.00 Hourly
Up to: $135,000.00 Hourly

Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
