3D Room Artist

Location: Remote

The 3D Room Artist will be responsible for building photorealistic room models of interior spaces that are schematically and architecturally accurate. 

  • This position is fully remote


A day in the life as a 3D Room Artist.

  • Create room architecture through detailed 3D visualizations which includes floor plans, perspective interiors, and elevations that are schematically accurate and photorealistic
  • Manage design projects on a daily basis  by updating CRM tracker with project status, communicating daily with internal/external on the design journey
  • Meet service level KPIs, such as response time for room model building and revisions
  • Support design service project overflow with the potential of direct contact with store customers
  • Assist in preparing renderings and other presentation materials
  • Partner with leadership to onboard and knowledge share when orienting new design service associates, as a subject matter expert
  • Ability to collaborate with peers, design counterparts and partner groups to ensure project design continuity across all areas of focus
  • Perform other duties, as assigned

  • An eye for detail and good visualization skills
  • Complete understanding of necessary design functions including spatial planning, color theory and selection, fabric selection, lighting, interior design styles and history
  • Strong sense of composition, scale, and proportion
  • Strong communication and collaboration in a team production-oriented workflow
  • Eager to learn and take direction as we develop standard tools, processes and technology
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to proactively identify opportunities or challenges within the scope of developments and actively finds solutions
  • Ability to work independently, self directed learner, multi-task and manage projects
  • Creative thinker, efficient problem solver and ability to accept constructive feedback


We’d love to hear from you if you have… 

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in architecture or interior design
  • 3D modeling experience required with an emphasis in modeling of Interior Architecture.
  • Interior design/architectural experience with residential project experience along with Interior Exterior Architectural Design and Rendering, preferred
  • Computer skills and working knowledge of the following software: Autodesk, Revit, Autocad, 3DS Max or Maya, Photoshop
