Project Manager, Ecommerce

Location: Northbrook, Illinois

Manage critical cross functional programs and projects that support strategic goals across the company. Act as a resource for all functional business areas to support and train project management methodology. Provide governance process to measure company progress and achievement of goals.

A day in the life as a Project Manager...

  • Lead complex projects that generally have been assigned high corporate priority or have been assessed as high risk

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered in a timely manner and satisfy key business expectations

  • Negotiate and manage project scope with the business owners and define realistic business expectations with clearly defined KPIs and ROI for hindsighting success

  • Manage, coordinate and establish priorities for complete life cycle of programs including the planning, design, programming, testing, communication, training, and implementation of business solutions to meet requirements of cross functional business teams

  • Determine project need, critical deliverables and milestones and acquire resources required for the success of the project

  • Train and coach leaders of functional business areas and their supporting teams in project management methodology

  • Complete successful hand off of a program to the business including support for change management and long term process changes

  • Provide governance and support for company projects that are being led by business teams with the support of the PMO

  • Maintain and communicate regular project progress updates; mitigate risk of missed deadlines and impacted dependencies

What you'll bring to the table...

  • Demonstrated experience in high risk, critical program management with track record of proven success in full implementation

  • Strong demonstrated functional knowledge in Project Management Systems

  • Experience in creation of process flows and technical mapping and use of tools to visually demonstrate flow architecture

  • Strong functional knowledge of IT systems and understanding of System Architecture

  • Ability to develop strong business acumen across multiple departments

  • Track record of building effective business partnerships in a consultative model

  • Strong coaching and facilitation skills including ability to “manage upwards” and set clear expectations of timelines and results

  • High level of competency in excel to manage and analyze data

  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects

Starting Rate: $83,000.00 - $110,000.00

Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
