Project Manager, Supply Chain Technology

The Project Manager, Supply Chain Technology is responsible for delivering critical Technology projects according to defined business scope and requirements. This role partners closely with fellow program leaders from Product Management, Engineering and the Business teams in a highly collaborative, exciting, and fast paced atmosphere to manage and deliver small-medium complexity programs. The project management role focuses on leading coordination and management activities of the program, including planning, monitoring & governance.  This role also supports program budgeting and forecasting processes and may  help manage vendors and third parties within the program.  Successful  Project Managers exhibit team leadership and communication skills, strong planning and organization skills, and experience driving collaboration and alignment across teams.

A day in the life as a Project Manager- Supply Chain Technology…

  • Initiate and lead Technology programs and program work streams as part of company-wide strategic priorities
  • Partner with Program Managers,Product Management, Engineering and Business Teams to clearly define program objectives, program scope, and target benefits
  • Plan, manage, and monitor the program activities within the program lifecycle from beginning to end and own regular ongoing progress monitoring processes within the program Lead program planning activities across cross functional  technology teams, third parties, and stakeholder groups including building schedules and plans to support program objectives and milestones
  • Define and implement appropriate ongoing Program Governance (reporting, monitoring, stakeholder engagement, communication and escalations)
  • Manage program issues and risks while helping to identify and remove barriers
  • Identify and manage cross team dependencies through appropriate cross functional  planning and delivery processes
  • Incorporate into the program, and coach teams as appropriate on applying agile techniques and continuous improvement practices
  • Support portfolio level planning and monitoring processes for relevant programs
  • Coordinate with fellow program leaders to define and manage the program budget, and continuously update and manage the program financial forecast, to enable target program benefits
  • Facilitate key program ceremonies and retrospectives to effectively and efficiently achieve the program objectives while continuously building in learning through experience

What you’ll bring to the table…

  • Functional experience in Warehouse Management and/or other related Supply Chain technology solutions
  • Experience implementing and managing SaaS based solutions either as a software provider or as a client
  • Functional knowledge of modern microservice-based architectures and methodologies
  • Ability to develop strong business acumen across multiple business functions
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully develop and lead projects according to project management best practices
  • Experience communicating program progress, risks and issues to leaders
  • Leadership ability to work with Technology and Business management to identify and mitigate risks and identify opportunity
  • Proven leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholder
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a strong problem-solving mindset


We’d love to hear from you if you have…  

  • 3+ years experience in Technology field (Supply Chain technology strongly preferred)
  • 3+ years experience in project management
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience with Jira, Smartsheet, and Google Business Suite preferred
