Senior Director, Customer Analytics & Data Science

A day in the life as a Senior Director, Technology Management...
Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for a large, multi-faceted technology organization, potentially spanning multiple product lines, technological domains, or service functions.
Define and champion the long-term technology vision, architecture, and roadmap for your purview, ensuring it aligns with and advances the company's overall strategic objectives.
Drive significant technical or process changes that have a broad impact across multiple teams.
Lead and mentor a team of directors and senior leaders, breaking down functional strategies into targeted objectives across multiple areas or departments.
Delegate tasks and ensure alignment with broader company goals, providing leadership to direct reports and teams as they implement strategic plans and projects.
Drive the execution of strategic technology initiatives and major programs, ensuring the successful delivery of highly scalable, reliable, and impactful enterprise platforms, systems, and services.
Collaborate with C-level executives and other senior leaders across the company to influence overall business strategy and ensure tight alignment between technology and other critical business functions.
Build strong relationships and drive alignment across different teams and functions. Establish processes and communication channels that enable effective cross-functional teamwork and break down silos.
Actively develop others by providing consistent coaching and mentorship, helping them grow their skills and advance their careers. Influence direction and inspire action across different teams, even without direct authority.
Oversee strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, and organizational development to build and sustain a world-class technology team. Build a high-performing organization that accelerates outcomes through an intentionally designed org structure, empowered decision-making, and a commitment to growing our talent.
Champion a culture of innovation, experimentation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement, positioning the company as a leader in its technological space.
Establish and enforce enterprise-wide technology standards, policies, and governance frameworks to ensure quality, security, and compliance across all systems, data, and operational processes.
Represent the company's technology capabilities and vision to external stakeholders, including key customers, partners, and the tech community.
Understand the company and competitive environment comprehensively, leveraging this insight to inform technological vision and strategy.
Identify and resolve high-impact issues that cut across multiple functions, developing strategies that mitigate risk and leverage market opportunities.
Utilize strategic insights to steer the organization’s response to competitive and operational challenges, particularly concerning technological and market shifts.
Create a data-driven culture of continuous improvement where success is measured by the tangible business outcomes we deliver.
What you'll bring to the table...
Exceptional executive leadership, strategic vision, and organizational development capabilities, with a proven ability to lead and inspire large, complex technology organizations.
Deep and broad understanding of current and emerging technologies, architectural paradigms for large-scale systems, and best practices at scale relevant to diverse Technology disciplines (e.g., software engineering, operations, data, security, platforms).
Outstanding business acumen and financial literacy, with extensive experience managing significant budgets and linking technology investments to measurable business value and operational efficiency.
Superior communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and drive alignment at the executive level for complex technology initiatives.
Demonstrated success in building, scaling, and leading high-performing, geographically distributed technology teams.
Expertise in driving large-scale transformation and fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and operational excellence within the broader technology domain.
Ability to think strategically about long-term industry trends in technology and translate them into actionable organizational strategies.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make critical decisions in complex and ambiguous situations.
Proven track record of developing and mentoring senior technology leaders and managers.
We'd love to hear from you if you have...
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or other advanced degree is highly preferred).
Minimum of 15+ years of extensive and progressive experience in technology leadership, architecture, or operations, with at least 7-10 years in executive leadership roles (e.g., Director, Sr. Director, VP) overseeing large and complex technology organizations.
Demonstrable experience defining and executing technology strategy for a major business unit or an entire company.
Proven track record of delivering transformative, high-impact enterprise technology solutions and service models in a competitive market.
Significant experience in organizational design, talent management, and fostering a world-class technology culture.
Starting Rate: $200,000.00 - $250,000.00
Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
