Senior Director, Customer Marketing Intelligence & Growth Analytics

We are seeking an inspiring and transformative Senior Director of Customer Marketing Intelligence & Growth Analytics with 15+ years of extensive leadership experience to serve as an enterprise-level strategic leader. You will be responsible for setting the overall vision and strategy for Customer Marketing Intelligence & Growth Analytics, aligning capabilities with corporate objectives. You will drive transformative analytical initiatives, influence executive decisions, and establish a data-driven culture that fuels business growth and competitive advantage. You will own the strategy and execution of customer intelligence, marketing measurement analytics, and omnichannel analytics - partnering closely with Marketing, Digital, Merchandising, Stores, Product, CRM and Marketing Technology to drive outcomes at scale. This role is responsible for transforming customer and marketing data into measurable revenue growth, improved customer lifetime value, and superior customer experiences across digital and store channels. This is a crucial, strategic role for a recognized thought leader with a passion for shaping the future of Customer Marketing Intelligence.

A day in the life as a Senior Director, Data Analytics...

  • Provide enterprise-wide strategic leadership and direction for the Customer Marketing Intelligence & Growth Analytics function, ensuring alignment with the organization's overarching business strategy and long-term goals.

  • Lead the development, investment, and implementation of transformative Customer and Marketing Intelligence programs.

  • Drive innovation in Customer and Marketing Intelligence, identifying and evaluating emerging trends and technologies to enhance organizational capabilities.

  • Establish and promote a data-driven culture across the organization, fostering data literacy and empowering employees to make data-informed decisions.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executive leadership, key stakeholders, and external partners to advance the organization's overall data analytics agenda.

  • Represent the organization as a thought leader in the field of Customer and Marketing data and analytics, participating in industry events and sharing best practices.

  • Lead and mentor a team of directors and senior data analytics leaders, cultivating an environment of excellence, innovation, and continuous growth.

  • Anticipate and navigate complex technological and market shifts, guiding the organization through periods of change and growth.

What you'll bring to the table...

  • Exceptional leadership and organizational development capabilities, with a proven ability to lead and inspire complex analytics organizations.

  • Deep and broad understanding of current and emerging customer and marketing analytics related technologies and best practices at scale.

  • Outstanding business acumen and financial literacy, with experience managing significant budgets and linking data investments to business value.

  • Superior communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and drive alignment at the executive level.

  • Ability to think strategically about long-term industry trends and translate them into actionable data analytics strategies.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make critical decisions in complex and ambiguous situations.

We'd love to hear from you if you have...

  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in customer analytics, marketing analytics, or digital analytics, with at least 7-10 years in leadership roles (e.g., Director, Sr. Director, VP), preferably in retail, e-commerce, or consumer brands

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Marketing Science, Data Science, Statistics / Applied Mathematics, Economics, or a related field (MBA with Analytics or other advanced degree is highly preferred)

  • Deep expertise in: customer segmentation and lifecycle analytics; marketing measurement (MMM, MTA, incrementality); personalization and experimentation

  • Experience with omnichannel retail (store + digital), familiarity with CDPs, marketing platforms, modern data stacks and exposure to AI/ML applications in marketing and customer experience

  • Experience partnering with senior executives and influencing strategy

  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact analytics solutions that have resulted in significant competitive advantage or business growth as well as strong business acumen with the ability to translate analytics into outcomes


Starting Rate: $220,000.00 - $270,000.00

Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
