Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter

The Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter specializes in developing, driving and implementing comprehensive search strategies to identify high-quality, diverse candidates for jobs across the organization at the director level and below. Delivers exceptional candidate and hiring team experiences for multiple positions and business groups. Acts as a subject matter expert in the field of Talent Acquisition and engages business partners to bring on board the talent needed to fuel business success. Demonstrates an advanced level of consulting skills and business acumen. Models and acts in accordance with CBH’s mission and values.
This position is based at our Corporate Office in Northbrook, Illinois.
A day in the life as a Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter…
- Drives all aspects within each stage of the full-cycle recruiting process, from strategy meeting to onboarding, across multiple functional groups or business units, at the director-level and below, including key and challenging to fill roles
- Creates, delivers, and leads brand-worthy candidate experiences throughout the recruiting process
- Partners with and HRBPs and business leaders to understand strategic business objectives and organizational design, and recommends strategies to meet current and future talent needs
- Articulates a talent strategy using advanced consulting skills that leverage an understanding of the business environment, industry and labor strategies, organizational structures, and compensation trends
- Coaches and trains on talent acquisition-related topics to educate hiring managers and enhance a culture of recruiting across the organization
- Drives innovative and effective sourcing strategies using appropriate channels, resources, and technology that build diverse pipelines and slates for pivotal roles
- Engages in timely and appropriate communications with all candidates, hiring managers, HRBPs, and other stakeholders
- Improves the recruiting process to drive efficiencies and meet meet key Talent Acquisition metrics
- Develops and adopts Talent Acquisition practices in alignment with overall business objectives, CBH’s policies, and employment laws and regulations

- Strength in assessing candidate quality, skills and fit, and identifying the best candidate for a position
- Highly organized with a strong sense of personal accountability
We’d love to hear from you if you have…
- The ability to work 4 days/week at the Crate and Barrel Corporate Office (1250 Techny Road, Northbook, IL)
- 6+ years talent acquisition experience managing and prioritizing multiple, complex searches in a high-volume growth environment (corporate and/or agency)
- Expertise with a variety of recruiting technologies, including applicant tracking systems, internet search engines and social recruiting channels
- Expertise in negotiation skills; able to close complex offers
- Highly developed talent advising skills leveraging data, consulting and influencing skills, and application of business knowledge used to influence senior business leaders and deliver results
