We are seeking a visionary and transformative Vice President, Technology Management, with 20+ years of extensive executive leadership experience in technology. This strategic role will be accountable for setting and driving the global technical and operational vision across the entire technology organization, influencing the company's long-term strategic direction. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our technological future, fostering a world-class culture of innovation and excellence, and ensuring the delivery of groundbreaking, market-leading solutions that directly impact significant business growth and competitive advantage.

A day in the life as a Vice President, Technology Supply Chain...

  • Provide world-class executive leadership and set the strategic direction for the entire, multi-faceted technology organization, spanning all product lines, technological domains, and critical service functions.

  • Define, champion, and relentlessly drive the long-term technology vision, architecture, and roadmap for the enterprise, ensuring unequivocal alignment with and advancement of the company's overarching strategic objectives and market position. This includes defining and leading transformative, multi-year endeavors that deliver significant strategic impact.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop an executive team of Senior Directors and other senior leaders, cultivating an environment of unparalleled excellence, innovation, and continuous professional growth.

  • Direct the execution of enterprise-wide strategic technology initiatives and large-scale transformation programs, ensuring the successful delivery of highly scalable, resilient, and impactful enterprise platforms, systems, and services.

  • Collaborate at the highest levels with C-suite executives and the Board of Directors to directly influence overall company business strategy and ensure deep, seamless alignment between technology and all critical business functions.

  • Champion and lead transformative, organization-wide change initiatives.

  • Oversee global strategic workforce planning, executive talent acquisition, and organizational development to build and sustain a diverse, world-class technology organization recognized as an industry leader. Build a high-performing organization that accelerates outcomes through an intentionally designed org structure, empowered decision-making, and a commitment to growing our talent.

  • Champion a pervasive culture of innovation, rigorous experimentation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement, positioning the company at the forefront of its technological space.

  • Establish and enforce enterprise-wide technology standards, sophisticated policies, and robust governance frameworks to ensure uncompromising quality, security, and compliance across all systems, data, and global operational processes.

  • Represent the company's technology capabilities and vision as a leading voice to key external stakeholders, including major customers, strategic partners, industry analysts, and the broader tech community.

  • Proactively anticipate, navigate, and capitalize on complex technological and market shifts, guiding the organization through periods of significant change, growth, and disruption.

  • Foster a culture of leadership accountability for managing technology spend as a strategic and transparent investment portfolio, maximizing the value of every dollar and enabling self-funded innovation.

  • Create a data-driven culture of continuous improvement where success is measured by the tangible business outcomes we deliver.

  • Cultivate the next generation of senior talent (such as Principal-level engineers and Directors) by acting as an apex mentor.

  • Direct the strategic development and implementation of core supply chain technology platforms, including WMS (Warehouse Management System), TMS (Transportation Management System), and OMS (Order Management System), to optimize global logistics, inventory, and fulfillment operations.

  • Pioneering foresight into disruptive technologies, deep and broad understanding of cutting-edge architectural paradigms for hyper-scale systems, and best practices relevant to diverse global Technology disciplines (e.g., software engineering, Technology operations, data science, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, AI/ML, and critical supply chain systems).

  • Exceptional business acumen and mastery of financial stewardship, with extensive experience managing multi-million dollar budgets and unequivocally linking technology investments to measurable business value, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.

  • Superior executive-level communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to build profound relationships and drive strategic alignment at the C-suite and Board level for complex, enterprise-defining technology initiatives.

  • Demonstrated success in building, scaling, and leading high-performing, globally distributed, and culturally diverse technology organizations.

  • Profound expertise in driving large-scale organizational transformation and fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and operational excellence across the entire technology domain.

  • Ability to think critically and strategically about long-term industry trends in technology and translate them into actionable, forward-looking organizational strategies that deliver competitive advantage.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the proven ability to make critical, high-stakes decisions in highly complex, ambiguous, and rapidly evolving situations.

  • Proven track record of developing and mentoring an executive pipeline of senior technology leaders and managers.

  • The ability to foster a culture where balanced, candid feedback is the norm across the entire organization.

We'd love to hear from you if you have...

  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related quantitative field (MBA or other advanced executive degree is highly preferred).

  • Minimum of 20+ years of extensive and progressive experience in technology leadership, architecture, or operations, with at least 10+ years in executive leadership roles (e.g., Vice President, Senior Vice President) overseeing large, complex, and potentially global technology organizations.

  • Demonstrable experience defining, championing, and executing enterprise-wide technology strategy that has resulted in significant business transformation, market leadership, or substantial competitive advantage, including expertise in modernizing global supply chain and commerce platforms.

  • Proven track record of delivering groundbreaking, high-impact enterprise technology solutions and service models that have driven measurable business outcomes in competitive markets.

  • Significant experience in organizational design at an enterprise level, executive talent management, and fostering a world-class engineering and technology culture.

Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
