Senior Photo Art Director

This is an on-site position based out of our Chicago, IL Photo Studio
A day in the life as a Senior Photo Art Director:
Collaborate with internal partners to develop and produce new visual photo/video assets for marketing photography and other mediums (i.e., digital, video, print, social, etc.)
Lead the Photo Art Direction team on marketing photography, as well as ecomm photography as needed
Inspire, support and lead photo art direction teams through multiple on-going projects
Mentor and assist fellow Photo Art Directors on conceptual thinking, development, presentation and execution
Develop high-functioning working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across all channels
Act as company brand ambassador while on photo shoots
Ensure budgets and deadlines are complete, accurate and followed, and assist in developing and maintaining schedules for projects
Present creative and understand the goals and objectives throughout the stages of a project to stakeholders as appropriate
Collaborate with the Image Coordinator and Production team to ensure asset management needs are met
Create and maintain consistent, high level visuals, standards and specifications
What you'll bring to the table:
Extensive knowledge and experience in photo art direction, in photo studios and on location
Ability to translate Brand Positioning visuals into engaging visual solutions that enhance and elevate the brand
Ability to consistently provide innovative conception of photography styling, set backgrounds and surfaces
Strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to explain complex issues in simple terms
Ability to thrive and adapt to change in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Strong time management skills and ability to achieve results while managing multiple priorities
Current and informed on best practices and latest industry trends, digital platforms, medias, techniques and materials
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Must provide Portfolio link (including password) on resume or link to PDF samples
6+ of relevant photo art direction experience; digital and video experience a must
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, photography or related areas, or relevant experience
Understanding of color management policies and best practices
Extensive knowledge of relevant software including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Google Slides
Sketching skills and proficiency in Apple Pencil and Sketchbook on ipad
Starting Rate: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00
Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
