Associate Account Manager, B2B

A day in the life as an Associate Account Manager, B2B...
Support Senior Account Managers in day-to-day account operations, ensuring multiple projects progress on time and within scope
Assist in the preparation of pitch decks, client presentations, meeting agendas, product assortments, and pricing proposals
Maintain accurate and up-to-date account records, contracts and pricing
Track sales performance, inventory availability, and demand forecasts; flag risks and opportunities proactively
Draft and manage day-to-day client communications, including meeting recaps, timelines, and action-item follow-ups to ensure accountability
Monitor invoicing, billing accuracy, and financial remittance in partnership with Care and Finance Teams
Coordinate product samples, testing, and approvals to ensure quality standards and timely execution
Assist with local installations, site visits, and onsite client meetings
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance account efficiency, scalability, and client experience
Provide ad-hoc reporting and insights to support account strategy, renewals, and growth opportunities
What you’ll bring to the table…
Experience supporting strategic retail accounts
Familiarity with retail buying cycles, assortment planning, and promotional calendars
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Ability to handle confidential business and customer information
Passion for retail, product, and customer experience
We’d love to hear from you if you have…
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field preferred
2-3 years of experience in retail account support, wholesale sales, sales operations, merchandising, or planning
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and seasonal priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Google Workspace; CRM and ERP experience preferred
Comfort working with data, reports, and sales metrics
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a matrixed retail environment
Starting Rate: $58,900.00 - $78,050.00
Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
