Digital Asset Management System Manager (DAM Manager)

We’re seeking a highly organized and strategic Digital Asset Manager to oversee the intake, organization, and distribution of digital content across our eCommerce and digital marketing channels. This individual will manage our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to ensure consistent tagging, version control, licensing compliance, and access across creative, eCommerce, and marketing teams. The ideal candidate has deep experience managing large volumes of digital assets in a fast-paced retail environment and is comfortable owning both the systems and the workflows that keep content flowing efficiently to digital platforms.

A day in the life as an Area Manager...

  • Own and maintain the DAM system across digital-first channels including eCommerce and marketing
  • Develop and enforce asset taxonomy, metadata tagging, versioning protocols, and usage rights documentation
  • Manage legal compliance and usage licensing for all digital assets, working closely with legal and marketing stakeholders
  • Serve as a liaison across cross-functional teams (creative, eComm, site merchandising, UX, brand marketing) to ensure content is properly archived and accessible
  • Oversee ingestion, organization, and lifecycle management of assets for seasonal campaigns, product launches, and web updates
  • Provide DAM user training, onboarding, and troubleshooting support to internal partners
  • Collaborate with IT and vendors to optimize DAM functionality and user experience
  • Proactively recommend workflow enhancements that reduce bottlenecks and increase digital speed-to-market

What you'll bring to the table...

  • Strong knowledge of asset governance and metadata structure for digital environments
  • Experience with DAM platforms (e.g. Adobe AEM, Bynder, Brandfolder, Aprimo)
  • Solid understanding of web-ready asset formats, digital usage rights, and version control
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with content production process from creative brief to site deployment a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator; able to write training materials, meet and share best practices with cross functional teams
  • Understanding of Creative Suite a plus.

  • 7+ years of experience managing a DAM system in a digital content or retail/eCommerce setting

Starting Rate: $83,000.00 - $110,000.00

Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
