Senior Analyst, Digital Marketing

Location: Northbrook, Illinois

The Senior Analyst, Digital Marketing is responsible for the project management, analysis and digital measurement across brands (Crate & Barrel, CB2, Crate & Kids and Hudson Grace) across digital channels to inform data driven decision making around traffic, sales and customer development across digital touchpoints. This is an on-site position (Monday through Thursday) based out of our Northbrook, IL office with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.

A Day in the Life of a Senior Analyst, Digital Marketing...

  • Manage digital reporting and analysis across all major advertising programs, taking customers’ multichannel experience into consideration 

  • Improve digital measurement by using state-of-the-art tools and automation whenever possible

  • Serve as an expert on digital measurement within the company and create awareness for its opportunities and challenges

  • Work cross functionally across paid search, paid social and display to inform share of voice budgeting 

  • Conduct deep-dive analyses and develop advanced omni-channel reporting

  • Develop and maintain analyses and models that enable the company to market or operate more efficiently

  • Work toward automation of repetitive daily/weekly/monthly tasks working alongside MarTech team

  • Implement and improve reporting and ad hoc analysis processes such as dashboarding

  • Partner with Customer Data MGMT team to effectively land all current and any new digital data points in Customer Data Warehouse to allow for efficient and effective analysis

  • Partner with Customer Analytics team to improve overall digital analytics IQ of the the broader organization

  • Partner with eCommerce Analytics team on tracking, measurement and insights for Marketing channels

  • Constantly think about ways to improve the program using state-of-the-art tools and automation whenever possible

  • Participate in projects that increase the departments technical capabilities, improve data structures and data integrity and promote new strategic efforts

  • Work closely with Personalization team to identify potential trigger points in the digital data for additional customer personalization

  • Sustain effective relationships with key business partners (internal business units, external parties, outside vendors)


What you'll bring to the table...

  • Ability to serve as Digital Measurement expert, including Paid Search, Social, Display and other digital channels

  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at once

  • Strong analytical skills with a proven record of finding insights by analyzing data

  • Strong project management skills

  • Understand customer needs and trends for our core consumer

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel required

  • Proficiency in Web Analytics tools (Omniture, Google Analytics), SQL, Access or related knowledge in their underlying processes preferred

  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Javascript, Python etc. a strong plus

We'd love to hear from you if you have...

  • 5+ years experience in Digital Marketing, Paid Search or Paid Social, eCommerce, Analytics or a related field

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, economics, finance or analytics focus preferred or equivalent work experience

  • Experience partnering with vendors or 3rd parties in the following areas: ensuring that deadlines are met, that plans are accurate and budget/goals are achieved


Starting Rate: $68,000.00 - $90,000.00

Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
