Regional Business Sales Manager - Western Region B2B

This role is pivotal in driving B2B sales growth and expanding our business relationships within the designated region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, and a strong ability to develop and nurture business partnerships. Through account leadership and new account development, they will drive growth and develop marketing strategies. They will ensure strategic, long-term profitable growth and increased market share. This will be achieved through creating and tracking performance to a strategic business plan for the market.
This role is an Individual Contributor position which will focus on the Western Region.
A day in the life as a Regional Business Sales Manager…
- Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base in the region
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation
- Building strong client / relationships and rapport with customers providing excellent customer service and maintaining relationships with the customer base
- Preparing financial forecasts and planning with marketing plans
- Acting as a Subject Matter Expert on sales opportunities
- Effectively managing a multi-million-dollar business portfolio, driving revenue growth and profitability
- Expanding customer relationships and respond decisively to changes in market
- Making recommended changes cross functionally by evaluating results and competitive trend developments
- Navigating complex corporate environments and engaging stakeholders at all levels to achieve buy-in and support
What you’ll bring to the table…
- Exceptional communication skill set - including presentation, business writing and advanced interpersonal skills
- Strong project management skills - ability to manage multiple projects
- Financial proficiency and analytical skills
- Proven track record for obtaining business results through the development of effective internal relationships across multiple business functions
- Excellent negotiation skills and strong analytical / strategic mindset - ability to analyze and deliver relevant information
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
We’d love to hear from you if you have…
- 5+ years proven client/vendor relationship management and sales development skills
- Experience in the B2B sales environment
- 4 year university degree
- Experience developing presentations and pitching to all levels of management
- Demonstrated success in growing and developing business relationships that drive revenue growth
- Proficiency with Google
