Senior Analyst, Product Discovery

Location: Northbrook, Illinois

The Senior Analyst, Product Discovery will take the lead on setting the overall direction and execution of product discovery efforts, both online and offline, to boost visibility and sales. This position is all about creating a smooth and easy navigation experience with user-friendly filters, sorting options, personalized suggestions, and improving the internal search to make it easier for customers to discover products from the Crate and Barrel brand. Plus, there will be collaborative strategies across different brands and teams, extending the role's influence throughout the whole organization.

A day in the life as a Senior Analyst, Product Discovery…

  • Manage SEO efforts in collaboration with Marketing teams, ensuring a unified search strategy encompassing paid and organic channels for increased product visibility
  • Drive execution of comprehensive product discovery strategies for all brands, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
  • Communicate product discovery strategies and results effectively to key Marketing and Merchandising stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Brand Merchandising and Product Management teams to support a seamless navigation experience through the Product Discovery pillars: SEO, online filters, recommendations, merchandise sort and internal search
  • Analyzing data (site analytics, customer research, brand merchandising data) to identify opportunities for improvement in all product discovery mechanisms such as navigation, search, recommendations for ideal selling and brand goals
  • Manage dashboards and KPIs specific to product discovery, providing data-driven insights for brand-specific prioritization and team decision-making
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external partners (e.g., SEO agencies, data providers) to ensure successful collaboration towards product discovery optimization

What you’ll bring to the table…

  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices, UX principles, and data analysis techniques
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • A data-driven approach with the ability to analyze complex data sets and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Proficiency in eCommerce platforms and relevant technologies (e.g., analytics tools)

We’d love to hear from you if you have…

  • 3+ years in eCommerce SEO, Merchandising in a retail environment
  • Experience in eCommerce site operations
  • Experience with Product Discovery strategies
  • Experience with automation tools and methodologies is a plus
